5 out of 5 stars A "Must-Have" for Pumping Moms   November 26, 2007

I started pumping from the second day I was home from the hospital with my son, with a hospital-grade double pump. When I was home, it was no big deal to hold the bottles up and pump for 10 minutes once a day. When I went back to work full time - this was a necessity! I can pump hands-free several times a day with no trouble, and I can still type on the computer. For large-breasted moms out there - they *are* sized appropriately. I'm around a 38G and I purchased the size Large -and it works perfectly (I was thinking I would have to use an XL or bigger).

5 out of 5 stars A pumping Essential   March 27, 2009

I bought this about three weeks after I brought my son home from the hospital when he was born. He never could latch on so I had to pump around the clock. Before I bought this, my wrist hurt so bad from holding onto the bottles when I pumped. Any movement would release the suction. Once I received this, it was an immediate life saver. Pumping became truely hands free (which meant I could hold my baby, read a book, or do just about anything else with my hands). No more loss suction, no more wrist problems. I only wished I had it from the start. They really should include this as a standard accessory for breast pumps in stores. I could only find it online. This is a must have items for anyone who needs to pump often.

5 out of 5 stars Looks ridiculous, works great!   August 2, 2008

After holding a pump in place with my hands for 2 children, I found new freedom with this bra. I can pump at work and multitask (in a private room, of course!), including working on the computer or calling the daycare to hear my baby coo. With this bra on, I don't end up holding the pump parts too tight up against my chest, and I seem to get a better yield of milk. When I wear it, I am reminded of how much my body has changed (and drooped) since having kids and nursing my babies. But - I wear it for function, not fashion.

5 out of 5 stars Time Saver!   October 8, 2008

This contraption really saved me! In the first few weeks of my baby's life, I was nursing, supplementing with expressed milk, holding her so she wouldnt spit up, and pumping for the next round. The whole cycle took well over an hour, and then in an hour and a half, it was going to start up all over again! With this bra, I was able to combine the last three steps together, saving me 20 minutes each time. It was also helpful when I was pumping and my husband was giving my DD her bottle since I could read up on different things (like how to get my baby to stop crying!). And it helped to keep the pump horns on my breasts, which I would lose the strength to do when I was nodding in and out of sleep! I stopped pumping for the time being as my baby is now exclusively breastfeeding, but I can see how this will come in handy when Im back at work and can read or type when I pump.

I have been wearing a 36C nursing bra (I was a 34B before pregnancy). I bought a size small bustier. It's actually a little tight - the holes of the bustier are mis-aligned with my nipples a bit - but it holds it on fine. I figured I might also shrink some over time with weight loss and (what I hear is) breast shrinkage :-(. I also let it air dry, just to be safe. So a medium could probably have worked a little better for me, but a small certainly does what I need it to.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect!   July 26, 2009

This bra works so well. I use the medela symphony pumping system and the phalanges fit perfectly through the holes. The bra totally supports the weight of the bottles, even when filled with 4 oz of milk. I can be getting work done on the computer, using both hands to type, and get my pumping done for the day. It's ideal. I bought the same size bra that I've been wearing since delivery and it fits just fine. It seems a little tighter than a normal bra when you put it on, but it has to hold the bottles up. It's easy to zip up over your nursing bra. I just drop the cups and wrap it around me, over my bra. I highly recommend this for working women, or anyone who wants to be doing something else while pumping.
